Complaints and Warranty
For any warranty-related complaints, you can contact our Customer Service at customer@sanlodesign.it.
Complaints may also be submitted by post or in person.
In the event of disputes, the provisions of the Italian Civil Code apply, with the option to refer the matter to out-of-court dispute resolution bodies.
Duration and Validity of the Warranty
All sofas are covered by a 24-month legal warranty starting from the date of delivery.
The purchase invoice serves as the warranty certificate.
The customer must check the product's condition upon delivery.
Any defects must be reported in writing within 24 hours by email to customer@sanlodesign.it. Late notifications may affect the applicability of the warranty, especially in cases where a simple maintenance action could have resolved the issue.
Handling of Warranty Claims
If the claim is deemed valid, the solution will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis and may include:
- Repair of the product
- Replacement of defective components or the entire product
- Refund or compensation proportionate to the damage
If full replacement of the product is not applicable, the warranty covers replacement parts only. To request them, please send photos of the defect along with a detailed description of the issue.
San Lo’ does not provide repair services at home or in workshops.
Warranty Exclusions
The warranty does not cover damage resulting from:
- Improper use or failure to follow instructions
- Normal wear and tear or intensive use
- Environmental factors (humidity, excessive heat, exposure to water, etc.)
- Tampering or unauthorised repairs
- Professional or commercial use (hotels, offices, venues, etc.)
- Minor aesthetic imperfections not visible from a normal viewing distance (3 meters, under natural light)
Products modified from their original configuration
The following are considered natural and non-contestable characteristics:
✓ Slight variations in colour
✓ Wood grain and irregularities
✓ Natural micro-cracks in the material
Additional services (e.g., in-home delivery) are non-refundable.
The maximum value covered by the warranty cannot exceed the purchase value of the product.
